Dear RPSGT:

Effective immediately, candidates for the RPSGT exam following Pathway #2 -- candidates with six months of polysomnography experience and another allied health credential -- are exempt from the A-STEP Self-Study Module requirement. Pathway #2 candidates are also no longer required to submit proof of secondary education with their RPSGT exam application. Both changes are applicable to candidates preparing to test in the June 2009 testing window.

Please share this information with any of your colleagues who are preparing to sit for the RPSGT exam. Note that the A-STEP Self-Study Module requirement remains in effect for Pathway #1 candidates -- candidates applying for the exam based on 18 months experience in polysomnography. Pathway #1 candidates are required to submit proof of secondary education with their application materials.
